Alcohol problems and recovery in rural Scotland: 'Rural Matters' report launch

Alcohol problems and recovery in rural Scotland: 'Rural Matters' report launch

You are warmly invited to join us online on 23rd September 2020, 2-4pm BST for the launch of our 'Rural Matters' report: Alcohol problems and recovery in rural Scotland: findings from a literature review and qualitative research study.

This report is the culmination of five community consultations and 30 qualitative interviews with healthcare professionals, service providers, recovery community members and fellowship members working and living in rural and remote areas of Scotland.

We are grateful to everyone who took the time to participate in our events and interviews and would like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you. We hope this report will reflect your views and experiences at the same time as it puts forward recommendations for policy and practice to better serve your communities.

The presentation of the report will last approximately 45-60 minutes and the remaining time will be open for a Q&A session and discussion.

Please visit https://events.rcpe.ac.uk/alcohol-problems-and-recovery-rural-scotland-rural-matters-report-launch to register for the event. The webinar will be hosted on the online platform Zoom, and a joining link will be emailed in advance of the event.
