"...Because the mean unit price paid by this sample of ill chronic alcohol consumers was considerably lower than the mean for the rest of the ‘healthy’ Scottish population, it is likely [...] that elimination of the cheapest alcohol sales by minimum price legislation will result in reduced overall consumption of alcohol by this population of drinkers."
