The (Ir)responsibility deal? Big business and public health

This is a report of the seminar held by SHAAP on 15 April 2013 at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE), which highlighted the role of alcohol, tobacco and food industries in damaging public health. With contributions from Gerard Hastings, Mike Lean, Peter Rice and James Friend, there was lively debate and a commitment to work together to produce a consensus statement on how public health campaigners in Scotland can challenge the dominance of ‘big business’.
